For your protection, hazardous materials including but not limited to explosives, compressed gases, lighter fluid, flammable solids, oxidizers, car batteries, poisons, corrosives, radioactive materials, “strike anywhere” matches, loaded firearms and common household agents such as bleach, cooking oil, drain openers, cleansers, etc. are forbidden on board the aircraft in your baggage or on your person.

 

ADDITIONAL ITEMS PROHIBITED FROM BEING CARRIED AS CABIN BAGGAGE

1. Toy or replica guns (plastic or metal).
2. Catapults.
3. Household cutlery.
4. Knives with blades of any length. 
5. Paper knives.
6. Razor blades.
7. Tradesmen’s tools.
8. Darts.
9. Scissors (with blunt/round-ended blades, metal or plastic, less than 6cms in length or with metal blades and pointed tips under 3cms are permitted)
10. Scissors with pointed tips of any length are not allowed.
11. Corkscrews.
12. Cigarette lighters including butane, absorbed fuel (zippo), electric battery powered and novelty lighters.
13. Hazardous articles such as acids, ammunition, inflammables & matches.
14. Hypodermic syringes (medical cases that need to inject themselves eg. Diabetics, during flight are permitted to carry syringes in the cabin, they do have to produce medical evidence when they check-in and should be kept with them at all times (a doctors letter will suffice)
15. Sporting bats
16. Billiards, snooker, pool cues.
17. Any football/basketball etc. which cannot be deflated.
18. Limited quantities of medicines and toiletries that you may need during the flight may be carried.
