The following items of sporting equipment may be included in determining the free baggage allowance and when in excess will be assessed the charges listed below. The charge specified below will apply to the items of sporting equipment, whether or not it is presented as a single piece. Sporting equipment must be securely encased to avoid protrusions.
• One bicycle
• Bowling equipment
• One set of skiing equipment
• One set of golfing equipment
• One set of fishing equipment
• One set of shooting equipment
• One set of scuba diving equipment
• One surfboard.
• Windsurfing equipment
• Quiver
Bicycle - Single seat or Tandem seat touring bicycle, or one racing bicycle provided the handlebars are fixed sideways and pedals removed.
Scuba Diving Equipment - One empty scuba tank, one scuba regulator, one tank pressure gauge, knife, one spear gun and one safety vest.
Fishing Equipment - Two rods, one creel, one landing net, one pair of fishing boots (all properly encased) and one fishing tackle box.
Golfing Equipment - One golf bag containing no more than 14 clubs, 12 balls and one pair of golfing shoes.
Shooting Equipment - One rifle case containing not more than 2 rifles (with or without scopes), 10 lbs. of ammunition, one shooting mat, noise suppressors, and small rifle tools; OR, two shotguns, two shotgun cases, not more than pistols, 10 lbs. (22kg) of ammunition, noise suppressors, one pistol telescope and small pistol tools.
Skiing Equipment - One pair of skis, one pair of ski bindings, one pair of ski poles and one pair of ski boots.
Windsurfing Equipment - One board, one boom, one mast not exceeding 19 inches (48cm) and 1 sail.
Quiver - Two boards, three sails, three masts, 3 booms–approximately 50 lbs (23kg) per bag. Maximum dimensions must not exceed 154inches (390cm).
