Air Jamaica, operated by Caribbean Airlines will do all possible to have your baggage returned to you often within 48 hours. You will need to produce your ticket and boarding pass as the baggage identification sticker/number is placed on this document. This will aid in tracing the bags whereabouts. You will also be required to complete and sign a Property Irregularity Report Form. (Please note that this must be done before leaving the airport)

If the bag/s has been delayed you would be offered two options:

If your baggage has not been located within seven (7) days, a claim should be filed with the airline. At this point, a secondary search will be initiated.
