AIR JAMAICA’S IN-FLIGHT SHOW WINS 4TH INTERNATIONAL AWARD
Los Angeles, California – For the fourth consecutive year, “Island Stylee,” an in-flight magazine show for Air Jamaica, has won in the U.S. International Film And Video Festival. The program was created by Frame by Frame Productions of Kingston and received a First Place Gold Camera Award, its second.
The program has also won two Silver Screen Second Place awards since 2003.
Entrants from 24 countries were among the winners in competition just ended. The festival is in its 39th year and drew some more than 1,200 entries. “Island Stylee” is designed to entice Air Jamaica’s passengers to explore the airline’s destinations in the Caribbean and also Air Jamaica’s world outside of the Caribbean through news about the culture and diversity of North America, the U.K. and, most recently, Toronto, Canada.
“I am again thrilled that our production has been honored Internationally. Our partnership with Air Jamaica is one that we cherish, and as we grow together, this is only another testament to the dedication of all involved to deliver a product that is considered on the world stage, to be the best,” noted Max Earle, creative director for the production. “I am very proud of we all have accomplished, and hope we all can continue to “Soar to New Heights.”
The show is hosted by Rachel, who brings on board her years of experience hosting for BET, and was produced by Diba Mohammed. Delroy Johnson was technical engineer and Lukkee Chong, co-director. The show is financed through the marketing efforts of their partners, CMS World Media, based in Montreal.
