Dr. Jeffrey William Meeks

Dr. Jeffrey William Meeks attended the University of the West Indies where he majored in Chemistry and Bio Chemistry. Subsequently he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from McGill’s Faculty of Dentistry in Montreal, Canada in 1983. In 1985 Dr. Meeks completed his postdoctoral residency in orthodontics at Howard University, where he later served as an instructor.

Today, Dr. Meeks practices in Kingston & Montego Bay, Jamaica and is the author of several scientific articles which have been published in leading journals.

Dr. Meeks is a former vice president of the Jamaica Dental Association and is a foundation member of the Caribbean Society of Orthodontics. In addition, he is a member in good standing of the American Association of Orthodontics and the World Federation of Orthodontics. In 2005 Dr. Meeks was awarded the prestigious Diploma from the American Board of Orthodontics in recognition of his achievements in the profession.

Dr. Meeks has a private pilot's license and is also a member of the Board of Directors of Hillel Academy.
