Guaranteed Travel Program for Winter Snow Storm in the Northeast USA

Miami, FL – February 9, 2010 – Due to the possible effects of a winter storm in the Northeast USA, Air Jamaica has put measures in place to assist passengers whose travel plans may be affected. The airline has also announced the cancellation of flights in anticipation of heavy snowfall:
Baltimore
• Today’s Air Jamaica Flight 41, scheduled to depart Montego Bay (MBJ) at 5:50 PM and arrive in Baltimore (BWI) at 9:05 PM, has been cancelled.
• Air Jamaica’s Flight 40 on February 10, scheduled to depart Baltimore (BWI) at 7:00 AM and arrive Montego Bay (MBJ) at 10:15 AM, has been cancelled.
Philadelphia
• Air Jamaica’s Flight 44 on February 10, scheduled to depart Philadelphia (PHL) at 7:25 AM and arrive Montego Bay (MBJ) at 10:15 AM, has been cancelled.
Air Jamaica is currently operating its scheduled service into New York (JFK); however, flight schedules are subject to change as well as local airport conditions.
Guaranteed Travel Program
Passengers holding tickets to/from Baltimore (BWI), New York City (JFK), Chicago (ORD) or Philadelphia (PHL), valid for travel February 9, 2010 through February 14, 2010, will be permitted to make changes to their reservations without penalty subject to the following conditions:
• Passengers must already be in possession of a ticket with confirmed reservations.
• Passengers must have booked to travel to/from Baltimore, New York, Chicago or Philadelphia during the period February 9, 2010 through February 14, 2010.
• Changes may be made up to seven days before or after the original travel date.
• Passengers requesting change to origin/destination within New York, Philadelphia or Baltimore area may do so without additional collection/change fee provided travel is within the above-mentioned travel period. Air Jamaica will not be responsible for arrangements to/from an alternate airport or for any hotel/overnight expenses incurred.
• Passengers with totally unused tickets who elect not to travel will be issued a credit for future travel on Air Jamaica for the full value of the ticket. The credit will be valid for one year from date of issue.
Changes to origin, destination, season and fare-type may result in fare differential. Any difference, including change penalty, between the original ticket and the new ticket must be collected. Passengers are advised to keep documentation of their original flight record locator.
