Air Jamaica is offering passengers flying to and from Fort Lauderdale the added treat of one free extra bag.

As of Monday, March 9 to May 31, economy-class passengers on all flights between Fort Lauderdale and Jamaica will be allowed three bags, while executive-class passengers will be allowed four bags.

"With this special offer, Air Jamaica continues to provide the best value, allowing our passengers to carry just a little extra. And now our schedule is even more convenient, giving our passengers the option of early morning departures and late-evening returns," said Thomas Hill, Air Jamaica's chief revenue officer.

The extra piece of baggage is subject to space availability and should not exceed the maximum weight of 50lbs and the maximum outside linear dimensions of 62 inches.
