The enhanced Web Check-In feature comes online May 01, 2009, and allows passengers without checked bags to go directly to the security checkpoint and onto the gate. Passengers with bags to check will proceed to the specially marked Web Check-In counter to have their bags tagged and accepted.
“Air Jamaica is pleased to offer passengers this added convenience” said Sue Rosen, Senior Director Customer Service. “Printing your own boarding pass is one of the many great reasons to use AirJamaica.com. It’s our secure website to also book flights, buy tickets, check the latest flight status, and other travel needs.”
All passengers with electronic tickets may use Air Jamaica’s Web Check-In service at www.AirJamaica.com and check in for the flight between 4 to 24 hours before flight departure.
Web Check-In is not available for groups of 10 or more, stand-by passengers, those with paper tickets and unaccompanied minors. This service is also not available for flights from Havana.
