PIARCO, Trinidad and Tobago, 31 January 2011 – Effective today, we are pleased to announce that Caribbean Airlines has appointed Mr. William Rodgers to the position of Acting General Manager for Air Jamaica. He replaces Mr. Howard Hall who advised the Caribbean Airlines Board of Directors of his resignation as General Manager of Air Jamaica recently.
Mr. Howard Hall served two tenures with Air Jamaica, first as Chief Financial Officer from 2000 to 2004, and again as Vice President Finance and IT since October 2008 moving to the position of General Manager of the airline one year later. Caribbean Airlines wishes to welcome Mr. Rodgers to his new role, and in his present position as Acting General Manager, we are confident that his business acumen and people management skills will help to bring to reality our vision of one Caribbean airline under two very distinct brands.
