Check-in begins 3 hours prior to departure. Due to international processing and increased security requirements, you should arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to your departure time to allow sufficient time to complete all necessary processing and documentation.
Your reservations may be cancelled if you are not at the check-in counter at least 90 minutes prior to departure.
You should be at the boarding gate at least 1 hour before your flight is scheduled to depart. Failure to do so may result in seat cancellation and the removal of your checked bags from the aircraft.
Regulations require that all visitors to the US provide the following information at the time of check-in, or they will not be allowed to travel:
Full name (last name, first name, middle initial)
Gender
Nationality
Date of birth
Country of residence
Travel document type
Travel document number (expiry date and country of issue)
Destination address in the U.S. (does not apply to US citizens or legal permanent residents)
Note: Air Jamaica check-in counters close 1 hour prior to the flight scheduled departure time. Failure to arrive at the specified time will result in the reassignment of your seat, the cancellation of your reservation and/or ineligibility for denied boarding compensation.
